That's where you are wrong. Today there was no place in the starting X1 for Johnny Williams, Joel Ward, Jonathan Parr (player of the year last season), Danny Gabbidon, Owen Garvan, David Goodwillie and the injured Paddy McCarthy. All decent players at this level. Our squad this year is much bigger and better and we have been able to rotate whereas last year it was pretty much the same side and our form went downhill when an influx of injuries and fatigue struck in the last 3rd of the season.

Very good,so why did most of you want Dougie out 2 weeks ago then?

Look, I guess if we'd spent most of last season and all of this desperate to get a point ahead of them we'd be over the BBS too. Let them enjoy it.

We can enjoy the banter too,not often Palace are above us,like you say let them enjoy it.

We didn't. A poll on the BBS showed that a tiny percentage of Palace fans wanted Dougie out, and many away fans voted on that poll. The vast majority wanted Dougie to stay, but to play attacking football. That's exactly what he's doing and it is working fantastically.

As for Murray, he was incredible today. The ball just sticks to him like magnet. He is the focal point for our attacks, Moritz is a master of the pass and continues to find him time and time again where he can lay off to Wilfried, who'll put it in the net/win a penalty.

Burnley had Wilfried triple-marked today. Which is why he only scored two. Also denied another stone-wall penalty. Disgraceful refereeing.

The only reason palace are above us is due to Zaha diving to win about 4 or 5 penalties so far this season. Normal service will be resumed soon.

You sound very excited Seaside. You must be ready to burst. Bless you.

Yeah - they've reverted back to giving out the people actually in the stadium not tickets sold.

Poor fishing attempt. Your signature is less impressive when you have to lie to make it look better.

Zaha is by far the best player in the division. He gets fouled so much because he is simply too good for every defender in this league.

We should have had many more penalties than were actually given. If the referees got every decision right, we'd have had 2 penalties today as they were completely stone-wall. One on Wilf, one on Glenn.

However, we didn't get any penalties. So we had to score 4 goals from open play instead.

But you don't care about attendances . :lolol:

Points gained this season:
Palace 19
Brighton 4

Hey, it's not true, but I'm going to say it anyway.

The attendance today was 20,863. Quite impressive imo. After seeing a game like they saw today, many of them will come back too!

25 % wasn't it ? - that's 1 in every 4 Palace supporter wanted Freedman out - that's about 3000 of your total support.

Yeah, not too often at all. Just 34 seasons in the last 35, or something unimportant like that.

Still all good things will and must come to an end, perhaps this is the final flickering of the palace candle
