Trouble is Kev that no decent manager will work with our setup

It's the whole set up that needs changing. Let a manager, manage. Pick his own staff and players. The club really is a total shambles on the playing side, quite how this has been allowed to happen is unbelievable. The stadium and training ground is prem quailty. The manager and backroom staff on the playing side, couldn't run a piss up in a brewery. It's such a complete joke, it's shocking. The tactics, team selection and player recruitment is all total dog shit.

Now would be the perfect time to bring in a new manager. With the January window just around the corner, he would get the chance to see what we have and then identify what we need. The only problem is finding the right man and relying on a new budget to bring in new players as well as getting rid of our dead wood.

Yep the whole set up is bloody ridiculous and bloom needs to put his hands up and swallow his pride.Get rid of burk aswell as he's a bloody embarrassment to the club.

Massive changes needed throughout

Will the 'right' man come to us?
Would anyone be better than Sami within the current set up?
(granted that is a little more clear cut after this team selection away from home at the free scoring top of the league team)

That is my concern too. After the ice cold Sami would another mild mannered type like Hughton or Clarke have the bearing and strength of character to stabilise the situation and then fire us up the table?

I fear it will need a Pulis type character to come in, rebuild confidence and when necessary put a real rocket into the team. However I fear that some of our players are now so low on confidence that it could have the opposite effect. Couldn't be any worse than our current direction of travel. I certainly think the fans would like to see someone with some serious passion

Plus I'm not sure that an experienced firebrand manager would accept working within the constraints at the Albion, something would have to give. It will be interesting to see who is approached...........

Problem is Mr Bloom just hasn't got enough dosh fact!
If he got rid of burk he'd be millions better off...Think you'll find Hes spent enough money here and now it needs to be spent wisely, sadly we have a complete joke of a scouting system.

Don't be such a defeatist FFS grow a backbone.

its the midfield that needs some backbone. and the manager to recognise his approach isnt working and revert to some more simple, resilient tactics

Agree - i dont think TB will change it - he's invested in this setup and wont change now - im not sure sacking Sami will make much difference

managing what is realistically a good squad...

Completely disagree with this statement. The manager is poor but the squad is shocking too. Centre midfield is pathetic and look at the amount of loans. Burke and even Bloom have got a lot to answer for for allowing us to end up in this mess.

Will it be Chesterfield next year? Old school "derby" / needle match if so? Who else, maybe Southend, Orient, what other lively games?

Why will it not make much difference sacking Sami. Despite what some may think, we do have a good squad, we do need to strengthen the midfield. Having watched us this season, I would say the main problem is the manager and his tactics and his failure to give other players a chance in the centre of midfield. JFC and Gardener seem to be played all the time, however bad they have played, they still make the starting line up

The squad is shite - midfield and forward line is woeful - Only Bent is half decent but he's on loan

Why do people keep making this about money, the league table is not dependent on who has the most money is top and who has the least is bottom. Yes it makes some difference, but there are a lot of teams above us with less money

Who says its shite, plenty of teams with so called shite players and in the bottom end of the table during this season. How many clubs have changed their manager this season and now find themselves higher up the table? Let's wait and see if we change manager, what this squad is capable of
