Quite frankly I'd rather avoid Swindon we never seem to do well at their place and they should have beaten us at home this year. (I know Milner ran the show at our place)

Good to see that optamism is still in full force on NSC. Like Afters says if we're going to be promoted then we'll need to beat better opposition than Swindon.

How are the two legs decied if it's all square? Does the away goal rule apply? Silver goal?

From memory away goals don't count anymore and it is silver goal followed by penalties.

Well in that case I believe we can take Swinden. We have a rock solid defence at home. The real test will be breaking our away hoodoo. What better time than the play offs. Grind out a 0-0 draw away and then beat them at Withdean is our best chance. Not sure how we will fare if we have to play them at home first,. I can't wait!! Mind you we have plenty of time to sus them out. I doubt if the positions will change around much in the top 6.

I watched Swindon v Brentford on National Falmer Day. STFC were VERY lucky to beat Brentford (and that was when Brentford were still playing cr*p)

In fairness at their place, we had one of our better away games. Slightly strange to start with Knight on the bench and we were not helped that we had Flitney in goal and he was iffy that day. I would prefer a 4th place finish so we start away from home and know what we need to do in the second game.

The lowest we could finish if we lose our last 3 games and the rest win theirs is 10th .... Tranmere being the lowest side that could catch us.

I think a respectable 4th place is realistic ... shame as I would have liked 3rd so we could play Hartlepool!!

BTW .... the team with the worst form at the moment is Wrexham ... that could be useful come the last away game!!!
