We have now played FIVE of the bottomg SIX and beat ONE of them.

Promotion form? No. Relegation form? Yes.

We have not won a league game at home.

Crowds are dropping.

Virgo is playing everywhere but centre back.

We had five wingers yesterday and not one put more than a couple of goods balls into the box.

We have two forwards worth their place in the squad.

People need to inject some realism into the season and accept we are not a promotion chasing side.

This is a Leciester City fan's view of micky adams - an email i recieved the other day :

I know what you are going through. We had to endure Micky Adams for a couple of seasons and I found him tactically inept, as I did his successor (Craig Levein).

I liked Martin Allen and Ian Holloway and felt that Milan Mandaric should have retained "Ollie" for this season but I have been made to eat my words because I think that Nigel Pearson can really take us places because we play with nice width down both flanks and have a solid looking defence.

Personally I feel that the division is "much of a muchness" (as was the Championship last season) and anybody can beat anybody so it will be important to maintain the confidence. I see no reason why we can't be challenging at the end of the season but expect to also see Scunthorpe, Oldham, Carlisle and Leeds there or there abouts.

Losing to nine man Walsall wasn't shit then?

Drawing with bottom of the league Hereford wasn't shit then?

Throwing away the lead in the 95th minute TWO weeks in a row wasn't shit then?

The bizarre point about us is the ability to lower our game against shite opponents and to raise it magificently against quality. We've seen this time and again. What the answer is, I have no idea.

This basically means that the players are struggling to get motivated for lesser games. And it is the managers job to motivate them.

Richie, you are right. Some of those disagreeing were probably not there.

I don't know about anyone else, but I've been at all the home games, including the cup games, and 2 aways (Crewe and Southend)... and always enjoy being able to go and support the team, even when the results or performances are disappointing.

if you are refering to the city game, it was a freak magical moment, apart from that the two quality sides we have so far played are Leeds and scunthorpe, just remind me, did we raise our game during those matches?
