If my memory serves me, isn't he being tried in that position in the reserves?

No, he's on the right of midfield, well, he was against Southampton and Bognor.

He can't play the middle role Robinson is playing....he's not quick enough and his first touch is a bit dodgy

but...... with Cox off form Hart should be on the bench..... as should Fruity. These two need to play a few games to get themsleves back into the manager's thinking.

We are pretty safe now so rest Cox and play Fruity and Hart for the rest of the season and if they don't do the business let them go.

By the way Race..... we always assume that Wendy is seeing something on the training pitch that we don't i.e. Lofty is otshining both Fruity and Hart in training. Can we know if that's the case? (I suppose not :( )

Knew I read it somewhere. (not quite senile yet!)

Argus report of reserve win against the scum.

Albion again operated their diamond midfield with Alex Frutos on the left and Tommy Fraser on the right.

Hart, playing behind the front two, shot just wide in the first half from an attack launched by a nice pass from Doug Loft, who was at the base of the diamond.

I didn't see the Palace game. It was at Bromley.

Nice to see that Wilkins is trying to inculcate the reserves with his favoured formation. That way we have people ready to step seamlessly in to the first team.

We MUST keep Harty. Like other people have said, the guy is 110% for the team. A million times better than Robinson.:clap2:

He's past his best to be fair. A very good player for us on his day, but he hasn't had a 'day' for about two years now. I am fully behind Wilkins on this one. Don't let sentimentality get in the way of a tough decision. Hart should go at the end of this season. He's another Carpenter waiting to happen, where by keeping him on we will waste a year or two's money, as he's no longer up to the required standard. Let him go when all we have are good memories I say.

Dont agree with this, Carpenters problem was his physical fitness just seem to disappear after his palace injury. Harty still seems as fit as ever and apart from possibly loosing a yard of pace (as opposed to Carpenter loosing about 10!) he still seems as fit as ever.

utter, utter bollocks

With the exception of players in the team yesterday, who showed absolutely f*** ALL effort or passion, then i genuinely believe that is the case, although i didn't make that clear in my post.

true

the likes of kuipers, butters, el-abd, hammond, revell, savage apparently don't care about winning and have no passion for the club

SAKE

Did i say that?

No, i said that Hart is the only player who shows FIGHT and DRIVE - meaning he's the type of player who gives absolutely everything to try and help our situation, something that certainly wasn't evident on yesterdays performance, where the most fight shown was when Cox was subbed.

El-abd and Kuipers may have it, but what i meant by more original post was that there is nobody else who could have come on and showed spirit, commitment, and a fight to get us back into the game.

Also, Lots of our players do have fight in them, but Hart is the only man who shows it on a consistent basis. Yesterday, as far as i was concerned, was a pathetic, passionless display, and the players played as if they DIDN'T care. If they really have the fight in them, then they should bloody well show it, instead of turd like that. It was almost like watching England - lots of fancy passes to the full backs, without anyone actually wanting to go anywhere or create anything.

I would agree with WW that OGH has always shown the fight and determination that appeared to be lacking on Saturday.

Perhaps Cox who had probably his worse ever game for us, has got a bit complacent that he is irreplacable now.
