We need at least 7 wins to stay up

Looking at tonights table with 17 games left , we need at least 7 wins from those games to avoid the drop.
I wonder when the Adams apologists and those who reckon that losing 2-4 at home is a good result will wake up and realise that we are going down this season unless Adams and his non league back ups are sacked.
We have the squad now but under Adams he hasn't a clue on how to get the best out of them , simple things like playing them in their correct positions for a start.
And for all those lickers who reckon we will bounce back up if we go down, it only needs a bad season like this and we will go straight down like Wrexham did.

Or Grimsby, did'nt they get relegated last season or the season before last? and now just above L2's relegation zone!

It was four seasons ago now (time does fly).

The first season they looked like winning promotion but lost in the play-off final, the second they were mid-table, last season they stayed up after putting a run of results together, but this season if Bournemouth actually were consistent then they'd be doomed. They're struggling to keep a float but don't want to enter administration.

And yet listening to Harty and others we are too good to go down!! - we are sleepwalking to L2

No one is to good to go down - what about the other sayings like
we didn't have any luck
you make your own luck
it evens itself out over the season
we didn't get the rub of the green

the list is endless but the results for whatever reason are the thing that earns the points - and points are what will stop us being relegated not the fact that people think we are to good to go down.

After following the Albion for more years than I care to remember this is the first time I am saying we are going down when it is still mathmatically possible for us not to end up relegated.

This makes me very sad :(

Where are 7 wins coming from, if we cant even get a result at home against a poor Carlisle side who were on just a bad run as we are?

Way out West
History says we need circa 23 points from 17 games. Six wins and five draws would therefore suffice. On current form we are miles away from that. It is getting VERY dodgy. If we are willing to throw £150k at McNulty and a fair whack for Davies, then I can't believe we wouldn't also be prepared to bite the bullet and get rid of Micky. DK has shown in the past that when the chips are down he's no sentimentalist. It'll be a wrench for him to get rid of Adams, but time is running out. He's had 29 games to prove himself, but hasn't. If we leave it much longer and nothing changes we'll be down. In fact, something really has to happen THIS WEEK. From next Saturday we have NINE GAMES in a month. Those 30 days could be the most important 30 days in the recent history of BHAFC.

History shows over the last few years that 51 points ought to be enough so I would agree 7 wins is roughly what will be required. My worry is (assuming we lose at Millwall) that for the remainder of the season we will effectively need to win every other game to stay up - I'd like to be optimistic, but I just can't see that happening.

Even if Micky does get the bullet after Tuesday (if we get knocked out of the JPT) is anyone else really going to turn our fortunes around in what will be only about two and a half months of the season ?

If only somebody could get through to Micky that we need to play a standard 4-4-2 formation with 2 from 3 strikers starting and the 3rd on the bench all would be ok and we will get the results we need.

I'd also add we have 4 very big 6 pointer to play against the teams around us if we can win them we can put some distance between ourselves and the bottom 4. It's going to be tight though.
