We would probably be top six if we replaced every position with a better player.
I prefer fifth.

I prefer Anks to Sorenson because of his age. Sorenson is a great keeper and should be good for a few more years, Being younger than Tanno.

Isn't Poke meant to be the best on the training pitch? If we are not going to play him what's the point in keeping him on the books?

Marcus Hannehman. Free agent. Good Keeper!! No club!! and best of all......Looking for a club!!!!

just signed for Everton to act as cover up there remarkably enough.

Joe Lewis is the man for me but Camp at Forest is possibly gettable in January the way things are going up there. the trouble is all the names that have been suggested are keepers all ready in the Championship or would have to drop down from the promised land.

this German guy that I have never heard until the recent thread on here sounds ideal but is he some sort of problem child to be that good and without a club.

I think our best bet is to get the scouts out to league one. there must be an up and coming Joe Hart signed from Shrewsbury so there must be another.

If we are going for a keeper, Carl Ikeme is the man I would be looking at. Young-ish Wolves keeper, currently on loan at Middlesborough. He kept Hennessey out for a long period during their Championship winning season, so he knows what it takes to win this league. He is strong with crosses and a good shot stopper, although I'm not sure if his distribution is good enough for our style of football. Unfortunately, he hasn't had a look in since Wolves got to the Premier League.

I'd suggest Gus is just like Wenger on being pig headed about players and will find it hard to back down having said we do not need a new keeper pre-season. He did say that or did I imagine it?

Injuries aside Casper is here for the season

He did say that, which is why so many people shouted down those that suggested back in july/august that we needed a new keeper.

However, he also said Calderon wouldn't sign for us, then a week or two later he did, so anything is possible...

A note on Hildebrand... looks like he is going to Leverkusen or Evian
