We need a Danny Wilson

.... or a Brian Horton. Not as a manager, but in midfield. The better Albion teams have had a strong midfielder who can control the game, distribute the ball, drive forward, bring the strikers into play, threaten the goal by getting forward. A Jimmy Case or Tony Grealish. Guess Lampard won't be available for a while. The best we can hope for is someone on the way down but still able to make a difference with young legs around him... an Ince type...So who would you put with an inexperienced player like Spicer from Arsenal? and could we afford anyone anyway? If DC goes, I would favour getting a captain in the midfield and relying on a home grown replacement for Danny.

I think Reid will prove himself if he is allowed to play midfield and not out on the right where he isn't comfortable.

Maybe Sidwell has had enough of Coppell and would come back
