30 mins until kick off and 10% full.
Maybe everyone could get to their seats and start the noise before 2.59 ?

That seemed to work
I'm not sure we can take much credit. Fans were nervous and it was quite different to when we're supporting us slightly more against the odds, and with less on the line.

Honestly, it's mental that it didn't come across on telly. Where do they place the mics!? Was rocking in the North- nervy at times but my voice is shot
Yeah, it's a shame. I was wondering why on the cusp of making history it was so quiet. I'm glad to hear that in the ground it was very different!

Wow genuinely surprised it didn't come across on telly.

Great atmosphere in the North.
Not constant, but the peaks were as loud as anyrhing I can remember.
West was best of the season too

Really?

I obly heard them when they didn't equalise.
Mics must have been placwd in feont of them.

Something for the fans board members to take up.

The NS and WSU were bloody amazing today; pre, during and post match.

From the NS, blocks G and H of WSU were having fun. Led by @Guinness Boy? 😀

Nervy for a while second half as we naively decided not to mark quarterback Ward-Prowse. But the VAR offside goal, saw the return of the wall of noise.

Watching on the TV, you could only hear Saints fans singing. The rest of the ground seemed absolutely silent.

I’ve got a few videos that dispel that.

They tried for a while to create a party-poopers atmosphere first half, the opening goal crushed them.

My neighbour in N1C. Was singing , clapping and loving it.
He is normally a fairly reserved fellow.
Disappointing his efforts weren't apprecaited by the stream watching cogniscenti.

Unfortunately that didn't come across on tv. It sounded pretty flat until the last ten minutes.

Maybe we need to get some Palace microphone placements.
Yes, I heard that on a whatsapp group. It just goes to show that it doesn't convey the atmosphere on a stream. Our fans were really good today, there was lots of noise.
