Dick Knight Refused to give numbers when I asked him last night, but Insider has just said we have now sold 4,000 season tickets which is a 12% increase on last year, which at a rough guess means we only sold 3,500 last season??

Thoughts?

Good to see more bums on seats and i know the ticket office is still really busy with applications.

Would like to know how many of the holders are under21 this season compared to last.

If the team play well i can see the stadium being pretty full this season

So why couldnt Dick answer that if Insider did?

We sold 3,069 last year. That was an answer Insider gave in 'Ask the Club.' A 12% rise on that would be about 3,500.

At what point last season had we sold 3,069. Insider highlighed that it was a 12% increase on total sales, not at the beginning of season. I bought a season ticket in Jan last season.

If it now only say 500 more season tickets than last year then Micky Adams has done nothing to attract new faces, the only thing attracting new faces is the new u21 offer. I already know atleast 10 people who will be getting their first season ticket this year due to the new offer...

A very good point about ST's being purchased mid-season which I'd also forgotten; Insider's response was just before Christmas.

A question about under 21 season tickets

I cant find it on the offical website, but for LEAGUE games are there tickets availble at under 21 prices, or do the under 21s that didnt buy a season ticket have to pay full adult prices??

Perhas he thought the discussion would then be about numbers. Was 4,500 good or was 5,000 good etc. And there were other more important things to discuss.

I'll buy this explanation but DK could (and imo should) have handled the question better - eg:
"I don't have the exact figures to hand but the sales are significantly up on last season"

U21 can buy them on a matchday basis, but they are £17 (same price as a student last year).

If we've sold 12% more than last year, we've sold 3438 season tickets. That's a funny 'approx 4000'.

I think it is 18 quid for south stand centre U21 match tickets. Go through the official site as if to buy a ticket and it is there

All explained above if you weren't being too quick to jump to conclusions

Well its not really, is it? There is just the assumption above that 500 people purchased season tickets after 18/12/08.
