If Arsenal had kept 11 on the pitch no chance we get a point after that first half. Def one gained.
But they didn't keep 11 on the pitch, so 2 dropped.

You have to be happy with the point after the first half. Arsenal's defence is excellent and it's still early doors for us adapting to Hürzeler's style and what he wants. So many encouraging signs for us, Ayari really is coming on nicely.

Away at Arsenal?
One gained.

They had the better chances in the last 20 minutes.

I didn't know whether to be relieved or annoyed, when there was only 6 minutes added

The sending off was harsh and we wouldn't have got a point without it. Definitely one gained.

Definitely two points dropped. We had a man advantage and had Ayari (who I like and has up until now seemed to have a telepathic knowledge of where everyone is) popped it toward the other post, we’d be celebrating a win.

I understand why a majority see the match differently, Arsenal are a good team and they did seem to be containing/disrupting us when it was 11v11, but that is two points dropped today.

Well done anyway lads, you’ve got to applaud the effort.

Way out West
Defo 2 points dropped, game was there for the taking after the sending off
It was crazy how the momentum shifted after Rice was sent off. You’d honestly expect a team like Arsenal - with one of the best defences in the world, 1-0 up, and at home - to manage the game to victory. However, we immediately went on the front foot in a really serious way, and Arsenal were actually scared!! Arteta made a hatful of subs to try to find a way to deal with us, but it didn’t work. Maybe we should have made a few more chances, but for me it was definitely a point gained. I think it also exposed the same old Arsenal fragility….both from the players and the manager. They will of course whinge like hell, but they’d be better off spending time building their mental resilience.
