Interestingly the direction is not so much of an issue for me now I look at it with a 5 star hangover. Has someone clever got a theory as to why that might be?

For those that care, the typeface is (appropriately enough) called 'DIN'.

And it looks to me as if the colour is Pantone blue 286C
