In my defence, I was left unsupervised.

*Stands there with hands on hips trying to look like John Wayne*

We've got two chances: Slim and None - and Slim's just left town.

*Hears Lukaku is out and Dybala might be rested*

Well looky here! Slim's just rode back in again!

(No, I don't really think we've got a chance of overturning 4-0 against Roma. 4-0 against Rotherham would be a big ask, let alone Roma).

They'll park the bus and we'll try to walk the ball into the net, so no chance (but I'd be very happy if proven wrong)

There is no chance at all. But there IS a chance that we can go 2-0 up. That's what I'm praying for.

We go 2-0 up and it will be the most exciting game of football we've been to for a long long time.
Not just the excitement it'll bring to the game. It would do MASSIVE good for the rest of the season.
A really good performance, a win, even going out, will be huge.
Crap atmosphere and a poor performance would be a real sucker blow.
It's a huge game because of that.

Why not?

Yes it is highly unlikely, but I am absolutely buzzing for the game tomorrow. What do we have to lose? Nothing. Go out there, go hell for leather, and you never know...

It could happen...

Football's a funny old game, and it could happen.

However my experience as an Albion fan tells me they'll most likely get a goal from a sloppy error in the first few minutes, the atmosphere will go totally flat and we might get one back in the 83rd minute.

And I'm an optimist!
Has BarbsOBE been in touch to see if you can can write the programme notes for tomorrow?
