I'm told that unless someone else comes in with a long term deal (or anything else fucks up) Darren Currie will become an Albion player tomorrow afternoon till the end of the season.

Who NEEDS Andy Naylor anyway ??

Is that a 100% definite then if no-one else comes in for him ???

Dave my old man was questioned by people who should know better on Saturday after the game about where the Scott McGlesh story came from.

Seems a few feathers were ruffled at Brainwash command (i.e North Street).

Nothing is ever 100% definate, but my information is that if all goes to plan there is a VERY strong possibility he will sign tomorrow, at the very latest Wed.

Thats all I have to say.

If it is on loan till the end of the season he will then become a free agent, we could then do a permanent deal...or am I reading too much into a speculative situation?

I am not going to let myself get excited. Too many disappointments in the transfer market have taught me to wait until it is official.

What he said.

I'd love it, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Clock is ticking as well, any news/rumours on the other 3 permanent signings we were said to have been persuing?

I guess we would take over his contract till the end of the season. Good news IF it happens. Bowditch would be a great signing as well if fit, but we still need that experienced, hold the ball up, striker.

BAG would be able to wear her Currie shirt again.

I hope this Currie rumour is true but there have been a lot of disappointing transfer window deadlines for us in the past year or so. He would add a bit of experience to our side and he has a good few years left in him.

As for Bowditch, i'm sure Ipswich would be tempted in letting him come here for the rest of the season as we're keen and he likes the club. They could then decide on his future in the summer.

I hope Bowditch has got over his injury. He was great at Bradford but I thought he needed surgery?

Something tells me he probably doesn't need it if Wilkins has enquired about him. But i'm probably wrong.

as would scotty!

would love it for him to come back, arguably one of the most flair players to play for the club - however, as others are saying won't get the hopes up too much as this club always seems to let you down in the transfer market
