It's a bit forensic tonight. But . . . well, one would hope the best away supported team in the div (apart from Leeds and, er, Leeds) will get the dividend we deserve. But . . . you can't argue with statistics . . . . LOL! As an old Faversham farmer once asked me 'a horse that lives for a year is a yearling, right? So a horse that lives for a week . . . is that a weakling?'

Very early days, but my £3 bet on us to get promoted is looking better by the week.

If we can stay in the top 6 by Christmas then I will be hopeful, however we were top 8 when we went up to Oldham in December, and went downhill from there.

Edit: Sorry we were 10th, but 1 point off 8th.

This division is a mess. Orient top? Leeds bottom? I have no idea how we'll do, frankly. It looks like a disco at the Mill House (Portslade) circa 1974, but all the while Forest and Leeds are behind us, we must have a shout to finish top. And with the Falmer bounce . . . . I think our fate parallel's that of Gordon Brown.
