Personally I still think there is a lot of football to be played. It would be nice for us to get the points on the board ourselves rather than rely on everyone else not picking enough points to overtake us. It would be incredibly disappointing to get pipped to the post having lost 8 of the last 9 fixtures of the season and only picking up 1 point v Huddersfield.
Although if we don't pick up another point yet end up safe, then we absolutely will have survived due to picking up enough points.
A point is worth the same, regardless of when and where it is picked up.
If we were, say, where Stoke are now but had already played all of the big boys but had Southampton, West Ham, Stoke, Swansea and Arsenal coming up - bringing us the same 11 point haul we had from end of January to early March, we'd say we achieved survival by our endeavours.
I'm not sure that changing the chronological distribution of points accrued makes any difference as to whether we earned our own survival or had it gifted to us.
