This. I've pretty much been saying this all season. A complete catastrophe of the highest order in footballing terms across every area of the club.

I can't believe how tolerant the fans have been. It's as if the club has been purposefully sabotaged through everything that has happened and the inaction and denial of the board.
For me thats the most striking thing- the fans have been remarkably tolerant of the whole situation but its getting to the point where most of us have simply lost faith - fans need to vent their anger if anything is going to change

The club is entering that perilous period before they face the ultimate dilemma:

Regardless of our woeful form, do they continue showing the faith in Sami, open the cheque book in January and entrust this guy really can convert his playing pedigree to a managerial role? Can he lift the spirits, make best use of our returning squad members and oversee a mid-table recovery?

Or do they have a replacement already lined up, who will essentially start from scratch with a team embedded in losing ways?

Either is a gamble and one which the gambler Bloom will no doubt be weighing up. Question is: Tony, will you stick (with Sami) or twist (sack him and replace)?

The Boxing Day game against Reading is probably our 4th or 5th six pointer game of the season so far.
This is really a must win game, it is going to take some turn around of form to avoid the drop.
To think that 7 months ago we made the play-offs seems miles away.

We only got to the play offs last season due to Kusczhaks 20 clean sheets, the team who finished 18th scored more goals than us. The rot set in long before Sammi was signed.Letting the Pole go was almost as big a mistake as giving Murray to the scum, will the board ever begin to learn from their repeated mistakes

No i don't think so. I was diagnosed with catastrophic thinking some years ago, and probably in life i still live in general partial dread over what's to come if ever given half a second to ponder, but i don't have that with this team. There are imperfections and weaknesses and of course the results are not being grasped as they should be, but i have thorough faith that the squad, along with the additions likely joining in a fortnight, will pull us out of trouble. We're a long way from doom and i don't see us heading there.

Put the question to Barber ?
He will respond and say that we have the best ground in the country with padded seats and uninterrupted view lines.
Also that our performances has deserved better and we should be in the play offs.
Also that we should stay calm and remain positive.
Sami is a workaholic and will come good.

IF we lose Boxing day Played 23 points 19....to stay up we will realistically need 27 points in second half of season for point/game average...It sounds easy but that is two wins and and two draws more than first half season.
However beat Reading..Fulham..and Charlton and worries left behind......to all you sages...when did we last win three league games in a row ???

To be fair, they weren't just Tomas' clean sheets, they were earned by our defence. Which the manager has confused, exhausted & destroyed, poor buggers

What is all this..." We'll give Sami cash to spend in January" coming from?

Sami has no say in players we get, that is burke's job. Ok Sami may say, I want messi, but burke will present a list of players, and going by previous, he will know which ones he thinks will fit in and will get them. Witness most of the players we have signed since last year.

Perhaps going down is what this club needs for people to start opening their eyes and smelling the coffee. Going down to come back up, and all that...

Edit: when I say 'people' I mean the chaps in suits at the club; I know the majority on here smelt the coffee some time ago

Brighton won't go down.

I expect you to spend big In Jan, Millwall, Blackpool, Rotherham, Wigan are equally as bad and Wigan aside they don't have the same spending power.

And there is the problem - I simply don't trust Burke or Sami to get anything right in relation to transfers. Look at the utter dogshit signings made in the summer window - COG, Colunga, Baldrick, etc etc etc

there are many things rumoured written that beggars belief and who knows what is really going through the minds of the suits but the 1 thing that sums it all up in a way is the fiasco over Stephen Ward in the summer......our whole set up seems to be a disaster and to invest in the Amex and the training academy and all this prem league ready bollox just seems a million miles away when league 1 and half filled stadium is reality

Fancy writing style but bugger me you have missed the point . When do you say enough is enough? One win in 19? 20? 25?
