in a nutshell yes , a very clever man that mr brown
That's interesting, Shai Agassi (who is considerably smarter than you) said of him “the man is the most cerebral leader I have ever seen.”
He went to High School two years early. He studied for his degree aged 16, and got his PHD aged 34.
He lost his eyesight due to a rugby injury and if it hadn't been for experiemental treatment he would have lost both.
People who call him a 'one eyed twat', Vulture, are only showing themselves up. Pathetic.

Page 3 and no right winger has yet explained why tax payers money should be used for a party political appointment.
Never mind, back to the play ground insults...
Clever does not necessarily mean that he was decent leader material. If anything, his tenure would back that up.
ok perhaps not thick but maybe a bit clueless , you really must concede he was totaly out of his depth as pm and chancellorI agree with that. I'm just pointing out he isn't as thick like some say!
Tory voters: Labour f***ed up the country!
Labour voters: Tories have f***ed up the country!
(repeat ad nauseum)
SO boring.

just been listening to radio 2 interesting piece on tax evasion costing the country 70b a year yet the government are making a big thing about benefit fraud costing less than 2b a year
somethings very wrong here?
He was anything but clueless. He was a pretty good chancellor and an OK PM who was disliked by the media because he didn't have a Hollywood smile IMO. I think labour might have just edge it had the ridciously americanised TV debate been conducted on the radio.
Figures showed those who listened to the debate thought GB did ver well indeed. Unfortunatly he doesn't have Call me Daves stage presence.
The fact this country favours for charm over intelligence is very sad indeed.
As chancellor he steered Blair away from the Euro (how bad would that have been right now?)
From the Daily Mail (of all places):
"There is no question that at a time of intense international crisis, when global economies appeared on the verge of collapse and destruction, the British prime minister rose to the occasion and arguably saved Western capitalism."

Only if you believe the Government is there to serve the people and not suck the cock of Big Business.
Coming down hard on benefit fraud is taking attention away from all the tax evaders that are funding the tory party!
