Without doubt Season ticket holders should be first in the queue.

But I think they should be limited to a maximum of 2 tickets. One for them, one for a guest.

Then same for blue, then white members.

then a free for all!!!!!!!

Given that potentially 40,000 are available I think that four per season ticket would be good, however two per season ticket holder as a first chance would be acceptable and a vast improvement on last time when I know people who hadn't been to a game for ten years bought ten tickets long before some season ticket holders had had a chance to get one. Hopefully they have learned their lesson.

If 21,000 went to STH's, the club will need a decent priority arrangement for the remaining tickets ie non STH's who have watched the team at Withdean this season. What about the fans living in exile who can only get to away games as opposed to those last saw the Albion play at the Goldstone back in the 1980's ?

IF we get to the playoff final the club have a system in place for the allocation of tickets to games which see's season tickets first then blue, then white members.

Cannot see them doing anything other than this to be honest

This whole thread is based on the hypothesis that we get a play off place and then beat Forest or Donny or possibly Leeds over 2 legs. Just about as realistic as scoring in the last 30 seconds of the 2nd play off leg against Swindon and winning on penalties.:lol::lol::lol:

I WILL NOT be doing a post saying tickets are going to sell out.

Thank f*** for that. I had planned to go down to buy tickets before my flight to Spain, only to find that the queues were almost as far as my parents house. Had to go on holiday ticketless, with hope of picking one up when I got back. You are solely responsible for forcing me to watch the game in a pub in the depths of Devon as opposed to the stadium in Cardiff. :flameboun

I queued for 7 hours and bear no bad feeling about that whatsoever. Would do it again in a second.

What a joke this thread is :shootself:

Its strangely reminiscent of the thread before we played the Mansfield cup tie about how many tickets we'd get for the 4th round....

And of course the correct answer turned out to be .......none :dunce:

Quite right too - to watch people who hadn't been for years (if ever) coming away with sheaves of tickets before STHs got their fair share was appalling.
Hopefully if we get there this time the club will sell for 2 or 3 days to STHs (for the current season) only then to blue then to white members but I would not like to put money on it. I lost out last time so am sceptical to say the least.

I don't understand how you lost out when we didn't sell out.

If anyone says they couldn't get a ticket last time they are talking nonsense. Work committments meant I hadn't got the time to queue for 6 hours to get a ticket, but a few days before the game I drove up to Withdean, parked by the turnstiles and bought a ticket without a queue. It wasn't the best seat in the stadium but I was there and it was a fantastic day.

I am not going to start arguing with you Yorkie
I had many many health problems at that time and I am not going to recount it all here BUT suffice to say that had STHs been given their fair share of tickets I would have been able to go but I missed out because people were getting tickets that they were not entitled to have and then attempting to sell them on the black market.
Rather annoyed me that did

V true. A week or so before the game I sent a blank cheque with a request for 2 tix to the ticket office, and a couple of days later 2 tickets turned up in the post to my home address. They had loads of tickets available.

The whole process took me about 3 minutes I guess...

Surreal this, err we haven't even got their yet and a binfest.

I suspect the club would like to invoke the ruling on gold, blue & white however I think there was not the time to actually do anything but sell last time round as I thought we only got the tickets two weeks before the event ?

They will sell out if STH's are entitled to 4 or 6 each. A 30,000 allocation wont go far when all the fairweather supporters start clambering for them. Grimsby Town have had attendances averaging 4,000 this season yet managed to sell 25,000+ tickets. Mind you 20,000 of them will next week will be wearing their Premiership tops when they go to watch "their" team in the pub or at home watching on Sky.
