ironically they were helped by Rooney taking Birmingham downWell that's hardly any great surprise, they didn't survive by much the last time around.

A poisoned chalice? Weren't they in 6th place when he took over?Spot on, he's held in very high regard among Rams. Don't know much about DC but the Birmingham job was a poisoned chalice. Give him time and I think it'll work out. Born leader....
It's certainly true that our Wayne has been getting a lot of bad press, much of it unfair in my opinion. Yes ok the wheels did come off for him massively both in the States and at Birmingham, but his allegiance to Derby County, and the incredible job he did in keeping them up seems to have been forgotten by many.
It has been forgotten by many because Derby were relegated under Rooney.
Remarkable the conclusions that one can reach by simply looking at a league table! Particularly in the case of Derby's relegation, it's a little blinkered to ignore a 21 point deduction and embargoes that meant a threadbare bunch of elderly men masquerading as a football team!A poisoned chalice? Weren't they in 6th place when he took over?
Yeah...sewage most likely!Just noticed on the BBC sports website and it looks like The Pilgrims are about to appoint Mr Rooney as manager, is there something in the water down there ?
True, but his Derby record isn’t great irrespective of the points deduction. He has also proved he’s a shit manager at Birmingham and in the US. Conclusion, he’s a shit manager. Plymouth we’re clearly seduced by his name.Remarkable the conclusions that one can reach by simply looking at a league table! Ipswich, maybe? Or Luton, when/if Edwards goes to Ipswich?Because he is all lined up for the Albion job.
Not really . . . as far as l know anyway.

I guess he's also a bit too 'working class' for types who vote Labour but enjoy their football in a corporate lounge.True, but his Derby record isn’t great irrespective of the points deduction. I don’t hold his class against him. I have a concern regarding the way his head is developing, but other than this I judge him purely on his managerial skills….or to be more precise lack of.I guess he's also a bit too 'working class' for types who vote Labour but enjoy their football in a corporate lounge.
Plymouth couldn’t afford most of the managers they were associated with…….True, but his Derby record isn’t great irrespective of the points deduction. He has also proved he’s a shit manager at Birmingham and in the US. Conclusion, he’s a shit manager. Plymouth we’re clearly seduced by his name.
To be 'precise' I'm so intrigued how you are a socialist who watches football from the 1901...I don’t hold his class against him. I have a concern regarding the way his head is developing, but other than this I judge him purely on his managerial skills….or to be more precise lack of.
I’m also intrigued, why have you put single quotation marks around precise? To be 'precise' I'm so intrigued how you are a socialist who watches football from the 1901...
I honestly don't know!! English was never my strong point at school!!!I’m also intrigued, why have you put single quotation marks around precise?
