I never really liked Rooney as a player. Partly due his stinking attitude at the World Cup in South Africa. He seems to have matured now. I was impressed with how close he got Derby to survival with zero budget. He'll pick up another job easily.

I agree. Plus his off field antics pretty much throughout his career haven't helped either.

Got to admire his dedication to DC though.

It looks like Derby County have found their very own Dick Knight/Tony Bloom. Good luck to them if that’s the case.

To be honest they had that with Mel Morris, at the outset. Life long fan, worth £1.3bn and wanted the EPL as a two year priority
