Fecking commentators went on more about the couple of tw@ts that boo'd us at home the other week, than the Watford boo's at HT and FT.

Why are some of us so sensitive?

Tony Gayle I think it was on my commentary making a massive compliment about how good we’ve been, how good Potter has been, and what an attractive team we are. Yes he made that in the context of a few fans booing us, which they did, but his point nail on the head imho.

We may be safe already, looking at Norwich and Watford.

Pretty sure we are. Norwich have 17 points from 23 games. The chances of them getting another 17 from 15 are fairly remote and their GD is awful. Burnley and Watford are in all kinds of trouble.

Plus it was two months ago now, a epoch away in football terms. Clubs in dips face it all the time (Spuds, Hammers and Everton supporters boo at any home loss, demanding sackings). It only got publicity because Potter reacted publicly.

A stack of positive Albion things have happened since and the wider football world are forever praising all things Albion.

Possibly Lallana’s best display in an Albion shirt.
Such a dominate and classy display. Such a calming presence in the middle of the park. Won a lot of fouls and kept things ticking over throughout the game.

Just imagine.....

Three thoroughly deserved points from the game at Man Utd on Tuesday. It's not beyond the realms of possibility.

How good would that be? Europe would begin to loom into view, instead of people just talking about it tongue-in-cheek.

Duffy coming on. FFS why? We're two goals up, not one - much rather see Ferguson or Caicedo on for a couple of minutes experience.

Come on now, players have appearance bonuses, win bonuses and the like. Players also get to up their career stats, take the applause of the crowd. When you're 2-0 up with less than a minute to go, you give those bonuses to the club stalwart and legend, not to a kid who hasn't earnt it yet. It wasnt Duffy or Caicedo, it was Duffy or leave Lallana on. Duffy hasn't seen much game time for a while, Potter did something good for him.

36 points would have seen us safe in the last 5 Premier League seasons, so with the bottom 3 as they are, one more win or 3 more draws (perhaps more likely) and would've thought we're home and hosed in terms of avoiding relegation.

Home and hosed at 10pm Tuesday night then!

Not so sensitive. Just irritates me when they have an Ex Palarse tw@t go on about our booing and gloss over all the booing going on right at the moment he was saying it. Far louder than ours at home.

Still, loving the moment punk:

Joe Cole loves us.

Sitting on the BT Sport sofa today. Singing the praises of literally all things Albion, then he described the subs of Bissouma and MacAlister as “Bringing on two world class players in my opinion”.

The whole BT studio team were excellent, over the 90 minutes they covered us in detail with no made-up waffle.

Just in. Very un-Brighton from the away end, calmly despatching a lower-table team trying to defend in numbers. Great support (home support shockingly bad too), some excellent performances - Veltman and Lallana stood out for me in particular. Happy Saturday everyone :D

There's a star man playing on the right..

Great performance, should have had 3 or 4. We dealt with Watford sitting deep, we had patience but threatened far more than we have in the past against "teams like Watford". What a day, in fine voice too.
