Three games: three superb performances from our Centre-backs.
Three games: three unconvincing performances from our Centre-midfielders.

Sidwell, please.

Could be crucial at the end of the season. It appears we did ok, but how much is not having a premiership goal scorer for the first few games going to hurt us. 4 days to put it right. 2 points dropped on the face of it. Having said that two away games out of the way. Let's start winning at home.

So many pessimistic morons on here. we played really well. The new guys seemed to have settle in a bit more. we looked sharp and our build up was decent. we just lacked the finish today.

Now, before all you pricks just spout the same old shit about 'If you don't score, how you played is irrelevant' , I say **** you. We hit the woodwork 3 times and should of had a stonewall penalty in the first half. Was just one of those games.

I'm pretty sure, behind the scenes, we have a striker or 2 coming in to bolster our front line. Keep calm and carry on.

Happy to see us get our first point of the season and a few chances, hitting the post, etc., but against 10 men we really are showing how utterly lightweight we are up top. Knocky and March did their job, we just can't seem to see the back of the net. But as I said, overall, happy to get our first point away from home.

Great to get a point on the board but I can't help but feel that we could have had all 3 points. Maybe the price paid for not wrapping up a striker or two in the summer

Obviously it's Ryans fault we only got a point. I mean, what's the point of having a 5ft goalie if you can't beat ten men? Barber out, Hughton out and let's get Amelia Earhart to give half of NSC a lift

Well it was better than Leicester. Team need to get the ball moving a bit quicker still. But 1st point is always good. Looked pretty good defensively in the end, even if only v 10 men. Midfield were better as well and we at least had a threat with knockeart march and izquierdo. Players as slowly getting a better understanding together as well. Got to be more clinical though at this level. Those chances hitting the post have got to be buried.
2 weeks on the training pitch won't be a bad thing and hopefully Chris has 2 new strikers to work with by the close of the transfer window.
Not delighted nor disappointed with a point as it's clearly work in motion still. Onwards and hopefully upwards

This is nothing new but an upgrade up front and we would probably have won this. I thought we were much improved all round and Izquierdo looked very promising in his brief run out - came close when cutting in and a lung busting sprint back to make a key tackle.

The thing is that when player for player you are inferior to the opposition, playing against 10 men just evens the game up.

We should celebrate this point it will be a rarity especially away.

A little disappointing that we didn't get the win but plenty of positives from the match.

Dunk was excellent, we looked much more coherent, Knockaert is fit, Izquierdo in his brief cameo looked good, created a fair few good opportunities, we're not in the bottom three and WE'RE ABOVE PALACE.

Let's hope we can get the strikers we need. If we do we have a decent shot at staying up.
