I'm sure they'll play where they're told, but then you have another problem, if you think Hoskins/Rod/CMS/Obika can play wide left or right, then we end up having a list of CMS/Rod/Hoskins/Obika/Lualua/Buckley/David/Orlandi. 8 players for two positions?

Tend to agree. He came here promising quick attacking exciting football for the fans, I've seen stuff all evidence of that so far, he mopes around the touchline with a permanently miserable expression, doesn't seem to show much passion and it seems Jones is more our manager than he is, he really is dull dull dull, if that opinion makes me a bet wetting hand wringing nobber then so be it, it doesnt change the fact he seems unable to motivate a team and get any kind of consistency from them. I'm not saying he should go but he needs to start proving himself and pull his bleedin finger out. I await the flaming from the usual suspects but thats my opinion.

It's not one game though is it? We have played the entire season with the most defensive formation possible and rarely look like scoring.
Even when we have won (except a small number of games) the matches have not exactly been entertaining.
Positivety is one thing but blind faith is another.
When PIG etc walk away at the end of the season and season ticket numbers fall I wonder how Bloom will feel? I expect (and hope) he will regret being in Australia for the whole January trnsfer window for one)

At the start of the season I reckoned we were in for an upper mid-table year. Our close season was more or less destroyed, we've got a new guy running the show and fierce competition from big hitters apparently prepared to bet the farm on promotion. So far we are pretty much exactly where it's reasonable to expect.

That's fine. I want promotion but not at any cost. We've spent long enough nurdling around in the lower levels for me to still really enjoy being in the championship. Losing is frustrating but it's not the end of the world.

If we're still putting out poor performances next season and there's no sense of progress after a year, then I might worry a bit.

But they will be by seasons end. This is my point, they know CMS is back by the end of Feb hopefully and Hoskins not long after if they stay fit and progress well. By April we'll have 5 strikers and 4 will be bored to tears? I just can't see it.

So what do we expect CMS to do when he comes back..... Score a goal ?

He'll get chances - Yes but hit the target - NO !!
