Depressing listening. Still, never mind maybe all will come good next season. Mid table this year I think. No top six (as was the aim according to the board) I feel confident in our ability to be at the top of the FFP table however. Never like losing so I'm entitled to be a bit sarcastic!

So people want the club to spend more on players but keep the season ticket prices down. Can someone explain how that works?

Simple economics. Season tickets are price elastic - raise the price just a little bit, and you will lose a lot of customers, meaning less revenue.

as someone who likes to defend brighton players who are being unfairly criticised, i frequently defended barnes and have among some a reputation as a 'barnes lover', so i hesitate to raise this point, but...

One goal in four league games since barnes left. Are we seeing more now what he brought to the team? I'm not talking about his goals, he was only good for around 10 a season at this level, but i mean that link between the forward line and the rest of the team. These past four games it has been repeatedly noted how isolated ulloa has been - is that where we're most missing barnes?

Why? How many other chairman are out of the country for the whole transfer window?
Love Bloom but I think he got that wrong.

Err he has people in place to deal with that, they don't need baby sitting. I'm sure he was still contactable, have you heard of email or phones, Skype etc? I'm sure he trusts Burke, barber etc to sort things out and all he probably does is rubber stamp the final documents.

An outbreak of thoughtful analysis and insight on NSC. Well played Acker.

Not sure who are worse. The 'bedwetters' or the people complaining about the 'bedwetters' with some deluded sense of superiority. Makes me lol.

Mullery summed it all up on Friday night , no good having a tight defence without having a 20 goals a season striker up front with more goals from wingers and midfield.

You are such a Barnes lover, don't you know he's useless and can only score penalties and a striker not scoring is a waste of money :jester:
