Maybe the board are resigned they won't get anything out of the last two games but are also hoping neither do Villa and as Bournemouth have just lost they would need a win away at Everton by two goals.

If a manager they have in mind is available now then better get him signed up before some other team nips in once everyone's fixtures are finished!

Doubt that there's that level of sense to it... its a decision based on emotion and desperation.

Wonder who will take on this two game suicide mission. Some Italian is probably a decent bet. Di Canio maybe.

Yeah, probably. Until about 3 weeks next Tuesday, when he'll be turfed out.

Nothing against Watford at all, but hope now they go down because of the Pozzo's

I know!

Maybe the Udinese coach will oversea them for the last two games, assuming he loses to Napoli later?

How many managers have Watford had this season let alone over the past few years surely the problem lies elsewhere they have some good individual players but no on the pitch leaders who are prepared to throw their bodies on the line for the team

Couldn't care less. Pearson seems to actively cultivate the reputation of being belligerent. I'm not going to feel sorry for him.

Definitely a nasty bully within Pearson, partly hidden by his low voice. Not the sort of person to have a neighbours or driving dispute with .... which isn’t a compliment to him.

But for him today, at least he’s added another £m or two from this job. Not too much to cry about.
