Anyone know what its like for parking near the ground at Watford? I got the train last season but found that a pain to get home at a reasonable time.

Watford Girls Grammar is best. Barely 5 mins from ground and easy to get away.

This is what I usually go with - in the town centre on the central ring-round thing, just opposite Vicarage Road (the road, not the stadium). Then it's just a short walk.

yes i head for that multi story...bit of a pain getting out of it last year...but to be honest after the complete SHITEHOUSE performance from the lads, we were in a grumpy mood anyhoo

Yep £10, but as others have said if you carry on past ground keep going and park in the residential estate area its free and about a 10 min walk! I parked in the school as im a lazy twat and could not be arsed to walk far, but was also about a 10 minute walk! The town centre car park was also close to the school so not much difference just depends how much you value your car!

I recommend the Exchange Road multi storey on the ring road just past Vicarage rd. It's the one with the circular exit ramps - costs £2.70 for up to 4 hours but then jumps to £5, so timing is everything!

Nah, I think it's just the hours it charges. I've definitely parked there before for evening games.
