Exactly what I was about to say. Think he's having a look round and discussions this afternoon.
Where are they going to show him around, if they want him to sign.

Wembley?

For Inzaghi his age is irrelevant. His strengths have always been a) insane positional sense and b) an unerring and astonishing accuracy from 6 yards. Make no bones about it, this is a brilliant signing for any Championship team and I am really excited about seeing him at the Amex.

And he's good looking too.

Pleased for Watford, I know how exciting it is when a real star signs, even though he is eligible for a bus pass.

However, I don't see him lasting minutes in this physical division.

Always struck me as a complete girl's blouse. I know Italian football has its hatchet men, but I'm convinced he'll find it physically tougher here, as well as much quicker than he's used to. Nearly all foreign players point out the difference in the pace of the English game, and I'd question whether a nearly-39-year old can be successful.

Class, is, as they say, permanent, so you never know.

I think that was more to do with a loan goalkeeper they had who looked pretty tasty.

Inzaghi at 38 has got Edgar Davids at Palace mk2 written all over it.

This, though I'd love to see him in top form (although just not against us :p )

Great signing. I wonder if Gus was ever in for him.

Didn't Vialli get in a load of old has been mates when he was at Watford?

Not sure they were up for a wet cold Tuesday night at Vicarage Road.

It might also send a message to a 'wobbly' Vicente.
English second tier still has plenty of clout.
