West Ham enter a very difficult run of games. They play the top 6 in their next 7 and the team outside that group is Southampton who are no mugs now. If I were a West Ham fan I be worrying where the next point comes before the middle of April.
West Ham fans think West Ham are down.

Watford fans think Watford are down.

We can take heart in that.

One thing yesterday which was a warning shot for Watford was how much Antonio bullied our centre halves if we don’t get to grips with Deeney will have real problems.

Really important our centre halves are at it next weekend as that will be a key battle

Need Duffy back, Deeney will bully Webster. Pearson will see us as soft touches.

Antonio bullied Montoya just as much as our centre halves. I'd also play Duffy but I think we need to start with either Lamptey or the Greyhound at right back. We need to bear in mind that we beat them 3-0 at theirs, but they will be more physical under Pearson and we struggle with that. Crucial for me that we take the lead. We've not won when we've gone behind. Take the lead and their heads will drop and our confidence will surge. And that means taking our chances.

5:30 kick off.

Plenty of time for a "long lunch".

Hopefully a more 'Sheffield Wednesday playoff atmosphere' given the undoubted importance of the game.

Looking forward to it immensely.

Nah 5:30 is a terrible time to generate an atmosphere at the AMEX.

Forecast 9°. No excuse for wooly gloves.

That's a bit too warm/cold* to get a good atmosphere at the AMEX.

*Delete as appropriate.

Now that we have found ourselves battling in a relegation scrap, it isn't only our own results that matter, it also depends on other teams helping us as well. The top 6 barring Liverpool have not performed well this season and they could all slip up to those that are up for the fight.
The title is as good as over and the top 4 almost decided as well. I fear some of the top sides will be 'on the beach' much earlier than usual. We simply HAVE to win our so called winnable games. Draws against those around us might not be enough.

I pray our confidence took a boost after yesterdays come back. Or, are we West Ham's bogey side and nothing has changed?

Well, we've got four of those big six at home ourselves. So instead of fearing they will slip up, why not hope they will slip up?
