Walking back from the game on Monday, I was walking up the ramp to the car park and this old Watford fan said in a very loud voice,...." ...when you bunch of faggots are kicked out of the league it will be the happiest day in football..."

I asked him what the F he was on about and he said..." i dont talk to faggots, I may catch something...."

As he was with what looked like his two small grandchildren and his wife I let it lie, but I was so astounded, I asked a copper who was stood next to us if he heard it and he said "Yes I did", but just shrugged.

For all the gay banter there are still some very sad individuals out there.

I had a similiar "conversation" with an elderly gentlemen after the QPR game. Apparently we didn't sell out our allocation because we were (and I quote)

"busily taking it up the 'arris on New Years Eve"

And they're called the Quuen's Park Rangers ? Sounds like a good name for a gang of cruisers.

Interesting isn't it ? If he'd have made a racist comment then he could have been arrested ................

Thimble, that would have been the perfect response, Watford have been bankrolled by one of the most famous and "out" gay men in not just Britain but the World. Some people have very short memories.

followed by "what's happening with your new ground ?"

.. which was nice.

Exactly - hope Liverpool stuff them in the cup and that they go down. How can they be homophobic when Elton John saved them- tossers and hypocrites and best of all LOSERS

One Watford fan makes some stupid comments and you brand them all tossers, hypocrites and losers.

Precisely LB, we have freedom of speach on this board, means we can say whatever we like.

I presume the same freedom exists on your own web boards, mind you I haven't been on them so I can't be certain, perhaps there isn't and that is why you prefer to share your own opinions with supporters from another team.

One adult Cardiff fan asks my 12 year old who was 8 at the time for a fight at Ninian park and I tar you all with the hooligan brush, wrong in retrospect but human nature.

Freedom of speech? You can't even spell it.

Thanks for correcting me LB, clearly I failed to benefit from the education that for me finished years ago, I trust you are still making the most of yours.
