Waterhall - Coronavirus - warning to any other scaremongering trolls

In anti-scaremongering news, I popped up to the shops earlier to get some supplies (that were needed, as opposed to panic-buying). While the store was understandably busy it was pretty well stocked. Sure there were depleted/empty sections there was still SOME pasta, SOME toilet rolls (quite a few actually), SOME alcohol – the only thing that was completely sold out that I saw was tonic water.

The shops are still getting deliveries – multiple times a day. So nothing is ever completely out of stock for very long. I'm guessing there is still stock with the suppliers and in distribution centres all over the country, so all the time the trucks are rolling, the shelves will continue to be replenished. It appears a lot of people don't actually realise this...

That was confirmed by a Co-Op boss on the radio and an ASDA manager. Their warehouses and trucks are full of everything, they’re getting everything to the stores.

It’s the early morning hoarders who are selfishly, day after day, hoovering up all the rice, paracetamol, now pasta, meats and healthy cereals, before anyone else gets a chance, who are causing this position.

On LBC today an English guy living in Bavaria, said that German grocery stores are often closing a few times throughout the day, to fully replenish from their stockroom. Meaning that far more people get a chance, periodically throughout the day. They don’t pile up the shelves overnight.

Haven’t quite a few countries experienced a 7% mortality rate, from those known to have the virus?

no they have not. though some have counts of serious condition in that sort of number.

It isn't any more.

JRG is also taking a short holiday while we concentrate on getting through this crisis. This will go for ANYONE else who ignores this thread.

Thank you.

Thank you.

@JRG has openly admitted, despite being an Irish national living in the ROI, that his dream is an uprising of the left and workers in the UK. Now he can take his agent provocateur shite stirring, elsewhere.

Italy has certainly had it bad. It's a country with a lot of elderly, many of whom have smoked most of their lives and many of whom live in extended family units and many of whom were drinking out of the same communion cups as their promiscuous youth. And it had "concentrated areas" (Lombardy). Perfect storm.

The UK's rate looks awful on that but it's because we're hardly testing anyone. I would have good hard money on the Germans' testing being more rigorous and it's certainly the case for S Korea.

Anyone else been past Waterhall this afternoon and seen the Army mobilizing? It looks like we are heading for full lockdown same as Europe very soon.

They are constructing enclosures. Not sure if morgues or testing centres.

Get your shopping in asap.
