I didn't call you ferral, but a lot of those in London look like they are. I marched for the Albion to on a few occasions, and as I wrote, I agree that peaceful protest is necessary, but we didn't block others from their business by making ourselves heard and events like fans United show that an inclusive broad church approach was more powerful and inclusive than simple anarchy.

The main issue with this mob, is this is a global issue, and the UK is already better than many countries.... And even if the UK was to stop all carbon emissions it would change nothing in the grand global scheme nor reverse climate change, so the approach of pissing off people in one city resolves nothing.

The question: How to rid London's streets of the idiot demonstrators? Giving them a bloody good soaking would very quickly send them packing. Boris had the right idea. Why they were never used I cannot understand. Alternatively, in the case of Waterloo Bridge for example, fence them in. A fence at either end of the bridge and no one is allowed in or out. No food, no potty breaks, no water. They'd pretty quickly lose interest. With so many good ideas, I really should be running the country.

Maybe all middle Eastern countries will go back to farming dates and close their oil wells, maybe rapidly developing, smog filled environmental rapists like China and India, will see a bunch of tofu eating momentum nerds in Oxford Circus and give up their rapid development?
Was a single tree saved from deforestation by trying to stop people going to their jobs by breaking the law in central London?
As for the shut down Heathrow attempt, how pathetic was that, maybe somebody should've provided some beetroot sandwiches for a dozen.

The biggest problem we face is overpopulation. This planet cannot sustain the number of people now living on it. The global population has grown from 1 billion in 1800 to 7.616 billion in 2018. It is expected to keep growing, and estimates put the total population at 8.6 billion by mid-2030, 9.8 billion by mid-2050 and 11.2 billion by 2100. Completely frigging unsustainable. Sort that out and climate change becomes less of a problem. And the stupid woman interviewed on tele a couple of nights back (one of the leaders of the group) mentioned that she had four kids. FOUR kids. No one needs four children. She quite clearly is part of the problem.

You think these protests are bad? Wait 15-20 years down the line when you have riots as people try to escape climate change, get into countries that have clean water, dry land, food and shelter.
