I don't think that would be a crime in the UK, if you were watching the broadcast of your UK supplier, might be criminal in the area you are in, because someone else holds the rights there though.

Throws up a few scenarios but in reality with a VPN extremely likely to be an issue.

The other scenario I was thinking of would be caught watching an illegal stream but had purchased a match day ticket but wasn’t able to go, therefore you have paid for the product technically
