I had some dealings with Mohamed A Fayed a few years ago (before the death of Dodi and Diana) and he struck me as not the buffoon he comes across as in some of the press.
The Channel 4 documentary appears very good:
"In a Channel 4 documentary You're Fayed, he calls Prince Philip, inter alia, "a sick, diseased German Nazi bastard from nowhere" and "a murderer", describes some members of the Cabinet as "cocksuckers" (but only the ones he likes), dismisses Tony Blair as "a failed lawyer", and asks rhetorically how Prince Charles can sleep with a woman "who looks like a crocodile".
But the best is his warning to Michael Howard ... that if he looks like winning he will dish the dirt he has on the Tory Leader ... between the four walls of NSC, that will be the £1million bung Howard accepted as Home Secretary from former Lonrho chief (and former Nazi) Tiny Rowland to open the inquiry into the Harrods take-over!!
