Was there much booing today?

I have to say from my vantage in the North Stand I was really surprised how little there was. Yep a lot of booing at the end of the match, but nothing really sustained. I walked away thinking it was a good example of the lack of atmosphere Withdean has that we can't even generate a decent protest these days!!

And where would that protest be? In the old Goldstone days it was outside the West Stand, where would it be now? In the concourse outside or in the car park by the Sportsman??

the amount of people behind the dug out before the final whistle was reminiscent of the last game in the championship under McGhee but the noise didn't really happen, all very strange the lack of atmosphere is quite spooky its like people have given up

That's what I thought! Or more that people don't think its right to moan, because Dick is some kind of legend. Its almost as though because of all of the years campaigning together over Falmer etc that you can't now criticise the club.

I saw Dick Knight after the game at the back of the North Stand, wondering along laughing like he didn't have a care in the world. Generally people blame him for sacking DW and brining Adams in but yet no one (me included) shouted any abuse at him. Odd really, when you compare it to similar situations at the Goldstone, I mean pre Archer, when boards although not great, took loads of flack over managers poor performance.

I was amazed at how quiet the south stand was at the end of the match. I think most think relegation is now certain so not a lot of point protesting. Perhaps we all just wanted to get home and warm

When their goal went in there was a mass exodus of biblical proportions.

.. well imagine a low budget bollywood version with a few hundred extras.

You get the idea.

I've never seen so many leave before the final whistle, H block was a morgue for the last few mintues.

Didn't hear THAT many boos, I think most people have given up. I know I have.

I've given up to the point of not even bothering to go any more, This could've been a great season for Albion fans what with work starting on the new stadium but thats all been overshadowed by the fact that the club have screwed up big time on the playing side of things.

When people don't care anymore that when you have REAL problems. Booing and abuse shows people are passionate and care, trudguing out quietly accpeting we are down is much worse. I reckon st renewals will be around 2000 next year so we could see crowds down to 3000-3500 in Div 4 next season. Hardly the backdrop required for a 22000, £ 60 000 000 Stadium to be built is it.

Well from the my poll, about 30% have said they won't be renewing and 30% are still unsure. Not looking good.

16 long standing STH (inc sponsors) around me in NS centre are wondering whether to renew next season - have said there'll be no problem getting a decent seat at Falmer - not just because of performances but the overall running of the club, coaching, PR,
