They seemed to be having words?
Probably issuing a belated apology for deliberately kneeing Barnes in the kidneys a few minutes earlier.
They seemed to be having words?
Not according to this website.

It was a really poor penalty.
There is more than just "did it go in or not". You're less likely to score if you kick it down the middle at waist height, i.e. straight at the goalkeeper.
How is it not according to that website?
Maybe I'm not reading it correctly, but the central position Barnes put the ball in was a position that is 'rarely saved' as described by TRHK - saved by 'Keepers only 3.6% of the time...
What?... better than the opposite corner??If the striker has seen the keeper commit to a dive early, then there is nowhere better to put it than 'down the middle at waist height'. .
I actually like a pen straight down the middle so did Gary Lineker.
What?... better than the opposite corner??
Barnes " you look a right prat with that beard you evil Aryan gimp "
Schmeichel " i know,i know"
TV doesnt lie
Aryan? I thought he was Danish, not Iranian.
Ryan Harley v Millwall. That was a poor penalty.
