Was Gus trying to prove a point with the team selection today?

I don't really do negative, and I certainly don't do negative towards the players. Everyone deserves their place in this team. However when the team was announced I did sit back and think it was a bit weak.

Do you think this team was selected to see how well they could cope against a nearly premiership team, to see who was up to it and thoughts towards next season?

no but it confirmed that our defence can't cope with pace, height and strength.

He said a couple of weeks ago he would mix things up for away games after the players didn't follow the agreed game plan on their travels. Basically it didn't work.

Something like that. I think we played West Ham on a good day playing particularly well.

I was surprised at the team selection, but I don't think it was to blame.

If you want to see bad defending watch Liverpool get their equaliser against Everton.

I don't think Dicker and Painter are League 1 standard, let alone Championship.

Who knows, he's gone through a load of analysis and come out with what he thought was best. Fair enough, it wasn't right, but its always easier in hindsight. Not a team I'd have picked, but I haven't been a top level player, got any coaching badges or football managerial experience. My worry before the game was we lacked pace at full back and central midfield.

and that's where we struggled around Christmas until Painter, Dicker, Calderon and Harley were replaced - now, who's back in the team?

No, the only problem is Gus. The side that played Tuesday done so well and really made us feel all proud and then Gus goes and changes it get again.

So they just cannot cope then? Going back to Calderon and Painter, was always going to end in only one result. They were exposed against the better teams in Div 1 last year. Today was further proof if needed!

Of course they're not, but I reckon, a pound to your penny, that those two have more talent in their small toenails than you do in your cock.

I didn't like the selection, but our away performances have been poor,in defence of Gus,he tried something different ,it just didn't work out for us.

I've never had any complaints about my cock or what I do with it m8. But wtf has that got to do with the fact that they aren't any good?

Tactically naive and some of the selections were bewildering. Not gonna argue about it, did too much of that before the game, and no I don't play Football Manager or whatever it's called but Gus should put his hand up and say he got it wrong today - nothing wrong with that

Assulin was class and was as good as vicente, shocked when he was subbed.

Gus seems to change things but in the wrong way,why does he avoid playing wingers all the time?dicker, calderon, navarro, painter etc are just pants in this league although calderon is the best of a bad bunch.
