Was anyone going to southend until we lost on sat?

I still think we'll take it to the last game of the season.

And then blow it in a less than spectacular fashion, live on Sky.

Even if the playoffs look unlikely now, I still support the team and so I'll be going as already planned. I can't be bothered with the Champions league.

I would do but I have to clean out the Hamster's cage tonight.

5 wins and 75 points will not be enough anyway.

This is exactly the sort of game where we need a good backing to show the team support. Despite Saturday's terrible performance I still think overall the players and management have been excellent this season. If a few of the negative moaners have decided to give this trip a miss hopefully that will leave a good bunch of proper supporters. Enjoy your CL cr*p and your ITV "pundits" if you're staying in.

I’m not going to Southend tonight in protest at Saturday’s performance. I believe that we would have beaten Port Vale, no matter how well the visitors played, had the players wanted the win badly enough. A lot of people paid good money to go to Withdean on Saturday and the team played as if they thought Port Vale’s capitulation a matter of time. Wilkins must take much of the responsibility for the shambles as it is his job to ensure that the players approach games with the right attitude. I’m sick of reading comments from the management about how the opposition should not be treated lightly, only to see the players treat the game as if victory were a formality.

Really don't think the club realise just how devastatingly CRAP that performance and result was on Saturday. Wilkins can blah away all he likes about still being in the play-off hunt, but Saturday was a SICKENER. You could just about live with the defeat, but the manner of the defeat was as bad as it gets. If the players couldn't fire themselves up for a play-off challenge after a week's break, then f*** 'em basically.

Not that I was ever going to go to Southend anyways like. But it's the PRINCIPLE of the thing

I know im a bad fan...but with an all round 320 mile trip fro Bournemouth..and with money not flowing this month...I changed my priorities after sat result!

Anyone else?

I'm doing something similar. I intended to go to Luton (and already have a ticket) on Saturday but if we lose tonight I'm not gonna bother. I'm utterly skint, but if the Luton game has some meaning it will still be worth the trip up (especially as the plan is to get battered in London before and after the game). However, I'm not shelling out over £100 (ticket, train, drinking) on it if the game is going to be meaningless.
