***Warwickshire v Sussex, Edgbaston, 13-16 April, LCCC Div 1***

The most curious thing..
Even if we did bowl them out for under 600 in the first innings, this will only means that Warwickshire have been rested sufficiently to roll us over and bat themselves into an UNASSAILABLE position if they have to bat again.

Wool louwse.

My word, just seen the score. Appears our bowlers are taking no prisoners this year.

Given the fragility of our batting they've already got too many.

Our only hope was Warwickshire batting for three days and rain for the other two. This is a master stroke from the brummies.

True. They'll be posting a big lead by the close after knocking us over cheaply.
Indeed. I fear another innings defeat is on the cards (I'm assuming the press reported the Middlesex result wrongly due to a mix-up with the scorecards). As Mackenzie says this is good tactics by Warwickshire: get all the runs they need (and then some) to reduce the risk of rain saving us.

Warwicks 87 all out, how many do you think we can make first up?

I'm going for 43, Lewis to top score with 11....
