My patience has run out, our recruitment policy is a utter shambles. We need a big statement tomorrow morning from our hierarchy or questions have to be answered. Things can't go on like this with only 18 days left of this transfer window.

Ward was definitely a "target" but not signing him through June and July, and playing hardball with Wolves has backfired spectacularly tonight. I'm beginning to fear for our season, and we've only played two bloody games!

You can't blame Ward for wanting to go to the Premiershit for another crack at it, but is Burnley like Boro with Clayton a better prospect then us?!

Something isn't right and our Board have to sort this shambles out once and for all.

We dont have many facts about this, the club may well be fully to blame and they will badly need to be asked questions if they are, but we dont know this.

We dont know how Wolves and Ward have acted either, but yet apparently they are blame-free ? More is needed for me before the blame game is played.

If the we had done the deal in July like you said Burnley would just have come and got him then instead. Would have made no difference. Plus if you are a player or and agent who knows there is interest why the hell would you sign the first thing offered to you? You wait and play everyone off against each other and take the most money. Burnley can offer more money than us, so we can not compete with them. Simple.

Fair enough, then we would have still had another 6 weeks to sort that position out. Don't try to cover this up, to make it look any different to what it is,,and that's a total balls up by the club...Everyone knows it's been Ward all along.

They may not be wrong, they may well be right. But shouting from the trees that its the club to blame when it actually might not be is foolish, and not seeing that without clear facts in turn makes you foolish.
