I don't know? I enjoyed Hove Park and the Greyhound Stadium afterwards. :lolol:

Cold and uncomfortable trip home for their fans with the windows on their seats!

will never forget the after match revelry lol

Yeah, but not as shitty as losing 4 - 0 at home to Walton and Hersham

I was at both and there isn't anything between those defeats in terms of shitiness.

True.

Or even the Leatherhead game. What year was that?

And Sudbury Town, losing the replay at home with a frigging postman scoring the winning penalty in front of the North Stand.

Unfortunately Clough's history of converting crap players into worldbeaters just didn't work for us. We really had some crap players producing even crappier results. Thank goodness Taylor turned it round.

That was actually just four days before, on the Tuesday night. So we lost consecutive home games - 4-0 to Walton and Hersham United and then 8-2 to Bristol Rovers. Cloughie can't have been a happy bunny.

Weird to see a few of their fans celebrating goals in the North, and a much larger group in the South. Didnt happen at other games that i remember back then. What was that all about?

I was 75-76 onwards. Looking at the video, surely that put pay to Brian Powney's Albion career, nightmare.......
