nearly punched a bloke at work today.

I haven't had confirmation of mine yet (not looking good) and a bloke at work whose last game he went to was at Cardiff has just come up to me and gloated 'cause he's got 4 (yes 4) tickets.

...and every home game this season I've asked if he fancies coming to the withdean with me but he's 'always too busy'.

I'm seriously as f***ed off with this as you lot.

Anyone else fancy going up with me and sitting with a bunch of cockernees?

Quite right to.

Look at the work Tubby is doing in promoting Peter Canning for Fan of the Year, that alone deserves a block of tickets at West Ham.

Awww. You shouldnt have. But thanks.

Being a grown adult, when I have sufferd disappointments on the ticket front, I have been thankful that I and my family are in good health, that I enjoy the games I do get to go to and that everyone that does go to game has a nice time.

I grew out of the smash my toys up and have a tantrum in public stag around the time that sunny jim callaghan resigned as prime minister.

Would also think it helps that when you do miss out on tickets, rather than bitching on here you speak to people you know (real people, not usernames) and ask about for tickets.

Tends to work out in the end.

I dunno, if ever there was a cause worth fighting for it is the Peter Canning fan of the year!

Tubby doesn't do it for recognition it's plain and simply for love of the great man.

ALL HAIL LORD CANNING!

God no!

What is that going to achieve?

What you should do is ring up Ian Hart, introducing yourself as Stuart Tucks Third Stud on the right hand side of his left boot (or some other 'humerous' pseudonym) moan for a bit about being the clubs greatest fan and how you've never missed a game since year dot and that you sent your ticket application in 3 weeks before the draw was made. Then ask what the club are going to do about it?

Or you could join the REAL world, get some REAL friends and not worry about the fact that you haven't got a ticket because they will always be some floating about nearer the time and your REAL friends will be able to sort you out.

When I was a sponsor/advertiser you could always phone up Kevin Keehan and get looked after.

I think it's a shame that someone like Beach Hut, who has also worked hard to fill seats with youngsters to get extra revenue for the club, should miss out.

Yeah it's sad that anyone has to miss out, but it's as soon as demand outstrips supply there are always going to be people who are disapointed.

I want to know how people know they AREN'T getting a ticket. I am getting the five I put in for, but that's because my credit card has been debited, not because I have the tickets yet?

So how do people know they are definately NOT getting a ticket?
