Want to move seat, how easy?

If you want a good seat in the WSL you're in trouble. My current seats are in Block F, Row Q and seat numbers in the 130s, which are pretty good, but on the off-chance I thought I'd enquire about moving to see if there was anything slightly higher. He said the nearest pair to me in the entire northern half of WSL was in Block G, seats 160ish and Row H (which is way too far forward). To get anything higher than Row Q you have to go all the way to seats 185ish, which is well inside the penalty area at the north end.

So my conclusion is that Paul Barber wasn't lying when he said they're selling well.

Just spoke to the ticket office about moving from Upper to Lower West. They offered us seats in row Q in Block B, which I was able to reserve until 5 today. As you are in row Q, so an expert - why are you looking to move and do you get wet there when it rains (my main concern)!?

Thanks!

I wasn't really looking to move, I was just curious. My seats are good, but it was worth a phone call to find out if something even better was available. If there had been something further back than Row Q and still central (Blocks F or G) I would have gone for it, but I knew that was incredibly unlikely, so I'm sticking. I was just surprised at how far I'd have to move to get two together, which shows how well they've sold/renewed.

As for Row Q, it is decent and you should be happy with it. I wouldn't want to be too much lower, as you'd start to get a rather flat perspective of the game, but Row Q is high enough to see the whole pitch well while being close enough to be able to shout at the linesman and feel that he might hear you. You won't get wet. The roof easily covers you in Q. Very occasionally, if it is BELTING down and there is a strong wind coming towards you then you might get a few spots blown your way, but it's so rare that we actually comment on it when it happens, and even then it is so light you barely notice. 98% of the time I don't even realise it's raining until I see it in the floodlights.

Thanks, a much appreciated review!!

What's row X from WSL like? I just moved there. Expected to be in a queue for ages, but I was only waiting for 10 minutes before I got through....

Probably similar to Q - but 7 rows further back! What block was that in??? Would happily swap if you'd prefer Q!

Very happy to get a seat in the WSU and leaving the WSL behind (lovely view people behind are knobs). Any one know how far along seat 134 is?

Just moved (only one seat to my right to fill a gap left by one of our group cancelling for next season.) All done and dusted on the phone in less than six and a half minutes. Very easy.

Same seat as me - just to the left of the half way line - excellent view and perspective of the play ...... you haven't got my seat have you :)

Thank you, sounds good. They did mention having to move some dodgy character on ...
