I'm going to take a number of measures to reduce the ability of people ruining NSC, but the more persistent types may still get through.

As such, and given that we currently seem to be mod-light during UK working hours, if you want to help, and can/do spend a reasonable amount of time on NSC during the working day, then please PM me.

There is every chance that if you prove up to the job, this could become a permanent 'appointment' if you so wish.

Only those with an impeccable NSC record need apply, others will be ignored.

Quick question, is there an addon to create an rss feed from the Big Board? These would be really useful because people could put the feed on their own sites, which would link through to NSC.

I think the honest answer has to be 'no'. The intolerance, abuse, and number of threads being ruined by attention-seeking dullards is reaching record levels. This is probably a good moment to recognise the efforts of those moderators who can be bothered to police them, because I couldn't.

If it carries on I wonder if some sort of over-35s board is possible, because SOME juvenile toe-rags among the younger fans are spoiling it for everyone. We could call it NSC SAGA.
