Apparently Virgo was advocating dropping Stockdale on the radio so don't think comments can be described as knee jerk. 'He hasn't won us many games but he has lost us a few this season'

Here
Stockdale. Walton is a good young 'keeper but I don't think it's right to throw him in at the deep end. Besides, Stockdale looks like a 'keeper with no belief in his back four so unless the players in front of him change, mistakes will continue to happen.

Good summation! With no confidence in your mates on defence you look extremely silly.

Hughton said he wasn't looking for line-up changes. He was looking adamantly for better play. Soft soft goal.

His mistake for the first goal changed the whole match , Forest looked much better after they scored
Quite possibly but he has improved following a dodgy start to the season and think he should still be in the team.

Didn't see the Blackpool goal.

Stockdale has been dodgy since the first game and goal against Sheffield wed

Rubbish. He's a good young goalkeeper who has consistently improved as the season has gone on. He made one mistake today which he paid for. Last time I looked, plenty of players made mistakes today - including Teixeira for conceding the ridiculous free kick in the first place. I sometimes f***ing hate Albion fans - never happy unless they have someone to criticize. JFC wasn't playing today so it's Stockdale's turn. So, if Walton plays on Tuesday (which he shouldn't) and we lose who will you lot turn your moaning towards? Probably Greer I expect. As someone pointed out, a few weeks ago people were lining up to proclaim he was turning into a great keeper - one mistake doesn't change that. And what if Walton makes a couple of mistakes - will you come on here and demand he's replaced?

I haven't seen the replay yet, well only the scoreboard one after the goal but check out his positioning, again, fir the second goal. He was on the near post when the wall should have this covered and he can then cover the middle and far post. Walton in!

Sorry mate Stockdale has been making mistakes all season , look at the goal at Blackpool last week , I cold name at least another half a dozen which have resulted in goals . He is just not up to Championship standard , his decision making is very poor , I have never rated him and I have been proved right ,

Absolutely this. If we're throwing the book at Stockie, then the back four deserve it as well for sloppy defending (not for the first time recently), and Tex for the daft foul for the second (Hughton was glaring at him after that)

It was ince foul for the 2nd goal not tex & it could well have been a pen

Stockdale is decent in the air, safe hands, good with his feet but flat footed & unspectacular. He does routine stuff/ saves etc well but I can think of only a couple of times he's pulled off something of quality
