I feel your capitalisation of the word ON could lead to people believing the game is definitely on and making the trip regardless of any further news. Perhaps would should have used lower case there, emphasising the WILL it instead? Ignore me though, Yorkie will know better I'm sure.

Agreed, I would have gone for WILL in capitals rather than ON.

Why wouldn't the game be on? It's rained more heavily, and for longer, and games have been played. For example, before Swindon away, in December 2003, heavy rain fell for a week and no games were lost to the weather on the day that game was played.
