Walsall website says that they expect to clear all the snow off the pitch today. It is soft underneath. Frost covers will go back on tonight as a precaution. Warmer temperatures expected Friday and Saturday.

Yep, it was being verti-drained today.

Met Office is forecasting at the moment, for Saturday in Walsall:

light rain 3am, heavy rain 6am and 9 am, just low cloud 12noon, heavy rain again 3pm, easing to light rain 6pm, wind speed Sat morning about 15-18mph gusting up to 41mph.

So, no ice or snow, but could make class football unlikely!
