I suspect that may be the case. He is happier at a smaller Club than the Albion. All that guff from Burke about the research they did on the character of the players. Absolute Charlatan.

Maybe his was the character they wanted at the time. I guess this was the manager saying 'go on, then, show what you can do'. But to play him up front on his own . . .

Take it easy. See you soon.

That's it for O'Grady.

Can't see him playing again in an albion shirt.

Hopefully Zamora and Hambo will get fit enough to replace him asap.

It's a very strange thing but I can never bring myself to care about the League Cup. If this had been an FA Cup result I would be steaming but this just feels like a training exercise.

Is it just me?

It would have been nice to progress but at the end of the day the prize money is very minimal and in the best case scenario that we draw a big club and get on tv it's another fixture we have to clutter the schedule.

Going by what Warren said about the effort that was put in by at least 8 players, CH would of been better off putting the entire under 21's out there tonight!.

I love Warren, "I don't want to name individuals but ....." and proceeds to lay into COG for the hundreth time tonight.

If I was COG i'd stay well out of Warren's way tonight!
Deserves everything he gets!

I thought we might lose 1-0, but not after we have taken the lead and especially not after getting two penalties.

I feel the same way. Having said that hate losing but the biggest disappointment is the urge to change back to one (useless) striker. Maybe this will be the last time we venture into this crap system.

Oh well, at least Murray hasn't scored a late penalty for Palarse.

I am not sure we ever wanted an anxious striker unable to perform at a bigger club. He might have thrived at Withdean.

Yep. Meet for a pint some time.
