I think I might go, it’s only two hours away and you can pay on the night. See you all there

I'm sure Sarmiento started the Walsall U21 game last season ran rings round them had about 10 shots then got subbed at half time we lost 1 nil and on the drive home I thought bloody hell this lad is going to be special,I can't quite get my head around the fact we're loaning players of his ability out.

Not forgetting losing 1-0 to 9-man Walsall in 2008 at Withdean
I missed that game as I was dropping my daughter off at Bath Spa university…. The memories are still so vivid wandering around the grounds listening to updates shaking my head

If you’ve got IPTV subscription with ifollow the match should be available there.

I went to see us at Walsall a couple of years ago in this(or the equivalent) competition. I THINK I remember us losing 1-0 but can’t swear to it. I do recall though it was an early sighting of Sarmiento and Moran was there too(and both looked very promising).
I regret going to this fixture in the same competition 20 odd years ago, because the team we put out was a shadow of the first team at the time. Think we lost 5-0.

When we got promoted from the old 3rd division along with Sunderland I believe we pipped Walsall on the last day. Could be my figure of imagination though.

In 2011, we were promoted at Withdean against Dagenham & Redbridge, but the game at Walsall guaranteed us the title.

We played Walsall away in the second round of the league cup in 2015 losing 2-1. Forster-Caskey scored a penalty.
