My good friend, who is a programme seller at the Bescot, is not a great fan of old Jeff.

Not at the moment there was a scheduled protest against Plymouth last saturday, but it didnt really get going. It will start to gather momentum again when we are stranded in mid-table and losing 3-0 to Rochdale.

No they only banned three supporters last season all have been rescinded, but there was no apology for the actions they took and when the three supporters asked for reasons for their ban they just got stonewalled.

If I were a Walsall fan then I would think that they would have a good chance of winning at withdean. Looking at our track record against Walsall, current injuries, suspensions and that we haven't won in our last three games - would put Walsall as favourite

From memory, we have lost three times and drawn once.

The first time at Withers (0-2) being the start of our wretched run under Hinshelwood, unless the Norwich reverse was first (0-2) (or Gillingham 2-4. Curse my fractured memory!).

I think Norwich was first - I remember missing the first two games of that season due to being abroad, realising we were unbeaten, then going to Withdean and watching things begin to go horribly wrong!

Correct, at half time I thought that Walsall would nick it as they looked the better side. Sometimes I like being wrong !
